Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are often the most accessible healthcare professionals, becoming familiar faces in a patient's health journey by offering care, support, and essential services. Community pharmacies don’t just fill prescriptions — they support patients where they are at.

Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians deeply understand patient health, from health history to past and present medications to prescription routines. By already providing patients with the medications they need to stay healthy, we have the opportunity to take it a step further by ensuring they are actually taking their medication as prescribed. Keeping patients on track with their medications is essential for achieving the best possible outcomes.

Who We Are

Certintell is a Management Services Organization (MSO) and Independent Practice Association (IPA) that partners with CPESN’s clinically integrated network of community pharmacies to deliver value-based care at scale.

  • MSO: Provides technology, compliance, and care management infrastructure.

  • IPA: Contracts directly with Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, and Medicaid MCOs on behalf of JoinCareTeam PC and CPESN.

  • Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Subsidiary: VitaSavings LLC participates in CMS’s MSSP for traditional Medicare.

Our Strategy with CPESN

Through Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs), CPESN pharmacies become Community Care Clinics with expanded services:

  1. Expand Access to Care – Annual Wellness Visits, chronic disease programs, behavioral health, Remote Therapeutic Monitoring/Remote Physiological Monitoring, Community Health Integration.

  2. Enable Value-Based Contracting – Single IPA vehicle for national contracting, executed locally.

  3. Align Incentives – Pharmacies share in quality, savings, and outcomes.

  4. Differentiate the Network – CPAs ensure pharmacy-delivered care is billable, measurable, and attributable.
